Akhir-akhir ini, Bencana kekeringan  melanda hampir semua wilayah di Indonesia. Berbagai daerah sudah mengalami paceklik air. Air seperti sudah menjadi barang mahal. Tampungan-tampungan air menyusut. Barbagai embung dan waduk berkurang drastis debit airnya. Warga terlihat mengantre air demi keperluan mandi, mencuci, dan minum. Hewan-hewan ternak sudah mulai kehausan dan petani kebingungan dari mana ia mengairi sawah dan ladangnya.
